Our new car, the Nota Le Mans,
has an emphasis on a low Cd figure
whilst using a ground-hugging, flat bottom rear venturi
for maximum ground effects.
We have created a modular rear engine sub-frame so that a range
of 4 cylinder Toyota, Honda and Mazda engines can be fitted. We also
offer the car with the V6 Toyota Aurion engine in either naturally
aspirated or supercharged and intercooled versions. For ease of construction and maintenance, the engine, gearbox and drive
shafts come from a single donor car.
There is a surprising amount of space in the passenger compartment as the engine and gearbox are mounted transversely behind the driver capsule. This mid-engine layout also gives the car a low polar moment as the main mass is on the car's centre of gravity. In road trim, the Nota Le Mans conforms to all current and foreseen Australian Design Regulations.
